This started as a simple doodle I did in Photoshop, but I rather liked it and ended up coloring it! And in a different style, too, I believe this is my most realistic piece so far. (Well. Semi-realistic, at least.) The actual making of it didn't take so much time, but rather deciding how I should do it! Lots of fun experimenting. I now officially declare that I love painting hair! I always have with my pencil, but this is different. Hard, yes, but fun.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. If you're open for suggestions, I think you could improve this/make it even more realistic by coloring the outlines as well instead of making them black.
